Natalie Baldeon is a figurative oil painter focused on the complex and consumptive psychological aspects of the human experience. She received her Bachelors of Fine Art from the University of Central Florida in 2008. She later attained her Masters of Fine Art at Washington University in St. Louis in 2012. She was the recipient of both a Graduate Art Scholarship and the de Compiegne–‐Wallace Foundation Scholarship. She is currently working and living in St. Louis Natalie has had work exhibited at the City Arts Factory in Orlando, FL, The Zhou B Gallery in Chicago, IL, the Grunewald Gallery of Art in Bloomington, IN, North Seattle Community College in Seattle, WA, 1310 Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and the San Francisco Public Library in San Francisco, CA. She has also had solo shows at Tatame Lounge in Winter Park, FL and New Concept Art Gallery in Orlando, FL. In St. Louis, she has had work exhibited at the Des Lee Gallery, The Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, The Foundry Art Centre, The Millitzer Gallery, The Old Orchard Gallery and The Washington University Kranzberg Art and Architecture Library.
Metra Mitchell received her early training at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY where she earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Painting and Minor in Art History on a full art scholarship in 2006, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She later was awarded a teaching assistantship from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO where she pursued her Masters of Fine Arts in Painting and graduated in 2008. She recently completed a residency at Art in Tuscany Study Center Association in Arezzo, Italy where she studied the theatrical effects of Baroque painting.
Metra’ s works have been exhibited in many galleries including: The PS Gallery in Columbia, MO, Houska Gallery in St. Louis, MO, Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, OH, PhD Gallery in St. Louis, MO, St. Louis Artist Guild, Art St. Louis Gallery, Cinema Gallery in Urbana, IL and The Foundry Art Center in St. Charles, MO. Institutions that have exhibited her paintings include University of Alaska- Anchorage, Susquehanna University, Northern Kentucky University, University of South Alabama, Western Kentucky University, Fontbonne University, World Trade Center in St. Louis and The Regional Commerce and Growth Association of St. Louis. She has also exhibited internationally in Eme’ Exposition Internationale at the Centre Culturel et de la Vie Associative Villeurbanne in Lyon, France. Her work is currently represented by The Sager Braudis Gallery (formerly The PS Gallery) in Columbia, MO.
